The Charlotte Russe® "Fit for Every Curve" Sweepstakes
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. To Enter: You may enter the "Fit for Every Curve" Sweepstakes in any of the following ways:
- Visit a participating Charlotte Russe store any time during normal business hours from August 27, 2018 through September 15, 2018 and try on a pair of Charlotte Russe denim jeans. Then, follow the directions in the sweepstakes signage to submit your online registration to be entered into the sweepstakes drawing. You will be required to provide the following information: name, email address, complete street mailing address, ZIP/Postal Code, telephone number and age. Providing an invalid email address, invalid personal information, multiple entries, or otherwise failing to abide by these Official Rules will result in sweepstakes disqualification. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of any entrant, the entry will be deemed made by the person identified as the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry (i.e., the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address). Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PT September 15, 2018.
- Residents of OH and MI, only, may enter without making a store visit by hand printing their full name, address, phone number, and email address on a standard-size postcard and mailing it to: Charlotte Russe "Fit for Every Curve" Sweepstakes, PO Box 907, Marblehead, MA 01945. Limit one (1) entry per person or email address. All mail-in entries must be received by September 21, 2018; and postmarked by September 15, 2018.
2. Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: $10,000 cash. Retail value of Grand Prize = $10,000. One hundred (100) First Prizes: a Charlotte Russe $50 gift card. Retail value of each First Prize = $50. Prizes may not be transferred. First Prizes may not be redeemed for cash, in whole or in part. Terms and conditions apply to gift cards. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes on the value of the prize won. Grand Prize winner will be issued an IRS 1099-MISC tax form for the value of the prize. No substitution for prizes, except by Sponsor as may be necessary due to unavailability. If originally-offered prize or is unavailable at the time of award, Sponsor may substitute an item of comparable or additional value. In no event will more than stated number of prizes be awarded. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to grant to the Sponsor and its promotion partners the right without limitation to use the winner’s name, picture, portrait or likeness, and voice in any future promotional material connected with this sweepstakes in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation, where permitted, and that such use can be made without prior inspection or approval of the use of any copy used in connection with it. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of entries received.
3. Drawings: Winners will be selected via random drawings on or about September 24, 2018, from among all eligible entries received. Drawings will be conducted by PROMOSIS, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions in all matters relating to this sweepstakes are final. Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by email, with potential follow up notification by US mail, and will be required to complete a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility and liability/publicity release that must be returned and received within five (5) days of the date emailed or mailed to potential winner, or prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner randomly selected from the remaining pool of participants received for the original drawing. First Prize winners will be notified by email, and will be required to complete an online Winner Verification and liability/publicity release within three (3) days of the date the initial notification is sent to the potential winner, or prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner randomly selected from the remaining pool of participants received for the original drawing. If potential Grand Prize winner is considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residency, the prize will be awarded in the name of the parent/legal guardian, pending timely completion and return of Affidavit by parent/legal guardian as stated herein. If any potential prize winner declines the prize, fails to claim the prize, is unavailable for prize fulfillment, or fails to abide by these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited without compensation of any kind, and Sponsor and Promosis may select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries.
4. Eligibility: The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the US, 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. Not open to employees and their families (spouses, parents, children/siblings and their respective spouses, and those living in the same household) of Charlotte Russe, Inc., their subsidiaries, affiliates, participating retailers, promotion partners, advertising and production agencies, and Promosis, Inc. Entrants consent to the use of their registration information in accordance with the Charlotte Russe privacy policy, available at: https://www.charlotterusse.com/privacy-policy.html and the Promosis privacy policy, available at: https://admin.promosis.com/privacy.php. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to the release of their name, address, and email information to Promosis for winner notification purposes and for public winner disclosure, as required by law. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, and is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
5. Limitation of Liability: Sponsor, independent judging organization, and their promotion partners are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any sweepstakes-related materials; for any individual's inability to enter the sweepstakes, including but not limited to unavailable network, server, or other connections; failed software or hardware transmissions; for other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic, including lost, late, incomplete, inaccessible, corrupted, garbled, damaged, or misdirected entries; or for any damage to any computer related to or resulting from participation. Multiple entries and those that are generated by script, macro, or other automated entry devices are not valid, and will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the promotion should any of the foregoing occurrences corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If the promotion is canceled for any reason, including but not limited to those listed above, winners will be determined via random drawings from among all eligible entries received up to the time of promotion cancellation. Entrants agree that the Sponsor, independent judging organization, their promotion partners, related companies and agencies, and their respective employees or officers shall not be liable for injury, losses, damages, or costs of any kind resulting from participation in this promotion or acceptance of or use or misuse of a prize or parts thereof.
6. Dispute Resolution: THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES THAT WOULD RESULT IN THE APPLICATION OF THE LAWS OF A STATE OTHER THAN CALIFORNIA. As a condition of participating in this sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Massachusetts having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participants' actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
7. Winners List: For the names of the winners, send a standard-size postcard, only, with your return address to: Charlotte Russe "Fit for Every Curve" Sweepstakes Winners List, PO Box 38, Marblehead, MA 01945. Requests must be received by December 15, 2018. Winners List will be available only after winners have been verified and prizes officially awarded. Do not send entries or other correspondence to this address.
